Text message (SMS) terms

The program

The Dough Dealerz (a cottage bakery) sends two kinds of text messages, each with its own opt-in:

• Order updates — messages about an order you placed, like a pickup reminder, an order-ready note, or a text that an item you waitlisted is back.
• Marketing — recurring messages about new drops, specials, and events. You only get these if you checked the separate marketing box at checkout.

Consent is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies (marketing is typically a few texts per month). Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in

Only by checking an SMS checkbox on our site — at checkout or when joining a product waitlist. We never text a number that didn't opt in, and we record when and how each consent was given.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message and we'll stop texting you — that's it, effective immediately, with at most one confirmation text. You can also ask us to stop in any other reasonable way (reply in plain words, or contact us) and we'll honor it. Opting out of texts never affects your orders.

Privacy

We store your number to send the messages you asked for and keep a record of your consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We don't sell your information. We share your number only with our messaging provider (Twilio) to deliver the texts, and as required by law.

The fine print

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest change. Continued participation after a change means you accept the updated terms.
